백남준을 다시 만나는 곳, 용인의 백남준아트센터

서울에서 차로 약 1시간 거리, 경기도 용인시 기흥구에 위치한 백남준아트센터(Nam June Paik Art Center)는 ‘비디오 아트의 창시자’ 백남준의 철학과 예술 세계를 경험할 수 있는 국내 유일의 미술관이다.
2008년에 개관한 이곳은 단순한 전시 공간을 넘어, 백남준의 실험정신과 동시대 미디어아트의 흐름을 함께 탐색할 수 있는 복합 문화예술 공간이다.

Located in Giheung-gu, Yongin City, about an hour’s drive from Seoul, the Nam June Paik Art Center is the only museum in Korea dedicated to exploring the artistic philosophy and world of Nam June Paik, the founder of video art.
